Best Paper Award
 
EJMSTE is pleased to announce the establisment of its first Best Paper Award. The award carries a cash prize of 2000 USD, to be granted in February 2019. Three winners will be chosed, one in the area of Science Education, one in the area of Mathematics Education, and one in the Technology Education. A committee of Editors-in-Chief and Associate Editors vote to select the winners.

The following criteria will be taken into consideration by the committee:
• Originality
• Contribution to and advancement of the field
• Scientific impact

What are the criteria for eligibility?
1. The papers must have been published between 2013 and 2018.
2. Only research articles will be considered. Editorials, commentaries, and short communications will not be eligible.

What will the winner of the Best Paper Award receive?
1. A certificate. In the case of co-authored papers, a certificate will be awarded to each contributing author.
2. If there are multiple winners for each Best Paper Award, the amount of 2000 USD will be divided evenly.

When will the winner of the Best Paper Award be announced?
The Best Paper Award winning papers will be announced by e-mail and in the EJMSTE in February 2019. Authors and co-authors will receive a certificate for their award.
