Abstract
We have designed an activity to introduce primary school pre-service teachers and their students to quantum technology. The activity centers around the optical illusion known as Pepper’s ghost and the function of a beam splitter. In designing the activity, we have taken an integrated approach combining science & technology (S&T) education with arts & craft (A&C) education. Pre-service teachers were interviewed after participating in the activity to evaluate their learning experiences and their attitude towards S&T education. The results indicate a positive effect on pre-service teachers’ views on S&T education and its combination with A&C.
