This jointly organized by the International Research Group on Physics Teaching (GIREP), The Multimedia in Physics Teaching and Learning (MPTL), and and the Science Teaching Lab (STL) of the Department of Primary Education, University of Crete (UoC). The programme comprised plenary talks, parallel oral sessions, symposia, panel discussions, workshops, and poster sessions.
This special issue of Eurasia Journal of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education will bring together selected papers from the GIREP- MPTL 2026 conference related to the GIREP Thematic Group Laboratory Based Teaching in Physics (LabTiP). Thus, potential contributions include, but are not limited to:
- Design and evaluation of laboratory teaching-learning sequences
- Innovative experiments or demonstrations in physics education
- Learning goals and their assessment in laboratory physics education
- The use of digital resources in laboratory physics education
- Role of AI in laboratory physics education
- Role of theory and mathematics in laboratory physics education
- Student-instructor interaction in physics labs
- The role of laboratory teaching in teacher education
The paper must be based on a presented contribution at the conference. Accepted contributions that have not been presented are not eligible. If your paper is selected for this special issue, you will be requested to reformat your paper according to the EJMSTE format after the end of the reviewing process.
